British Pipe Smoking Championships:
For the British Championships, there will be a "slow smoking" competition. This will be conducted under CIPC rules. The current world record time is 3hrs. 18. mins, 15 secs achieved by Gianfranco Ruscalla, from Italy. A remarkable feat on 3 grammes of tobacco.
The date for the next championships has been set: weekend of 12th/13th July 2014.
